Lullfabric: Relax is a few quiet minutes: a gentle light moves through your body, your breath is paced for you, and the sound looks after the rest. Here is how to get the most from it, and how to reach me.
Getting started
- 1 Sit or lie somewhere comfortable. Anywhere will do. You do not need a cushion, a posture, or a quiet house.
- 2 Pick a length. Five, ten or fifteen minutes. That is the only decision, and the length shapes how far through the body you travel.
- 3 Begin. The same practice runs each time, so there is nothing to browse and no course to keep up with.
- 4 Follow the light. A glow moves down through the figure, from your head towards your feet. Rest your attention wherever it is.
- 5 Breathe with the rings. When it pauses for the breath, rings spread out as you breathe in and settle as you breathe out. Nothing to count.
Questions people ask
Is there anything to learn first?
No. Press begin and follow what is on the screen. The guidance tells you where to put your attention, one place at a time.
Do I need to sit in a particular way?
No. Sitting, lying down, on a train or at a desk are all fine. Comfort matters more than posture.
Why is there no timer on screen?
Watching a clock count down is the opposite of settling. The practice ends on its own, so you can let go of how long is left.
Is the guidance spoken?
No, it is written. There is no voice, which means you can sit with the sound on and read at your own pace, or in a room with other people in it.
What if my mind wanders?
It will, and that is expected. The light keeps moving whether you followed it or not, so you can simply rejoin wherever it has got to.
Why six breaths a minute?
It is slow enough that breathing, heart rate and blood pressure gradually fall into step with one another, and most people feel it settle after a minute or two. If it feels too slow, breathe at your own pace and just watch the rings.
Can I sit more than once a day?
As often as you like. There is nothing counting, and nothing that runs out.
What is low-sensory mode?
It stills the animation and silences the breathing haptics, leaving the words and the sound. It follows the system Reduce Motion setting, and you can turn it on yourself in Settings.

Important health note
Lullfabric is a wellness tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose or treat any condition and is not a substitute for professional care. Slow paced breathing and body scanning are well-studied practices, but Relax makes no promise about how you will feel. Listen at a gentle, comfortable volume; stop if you feel any discomfort.
